How Much Shrimp Do You Need For A Shrimp Boil Per Person

Depending on if you plan to add sausage or another type of protein to the mix, you might aim for around ½ pound of shrimp per person. Toss in some smoked sausage and you will not need as much.

What Type Of Cajun Seasoning Do You Use In A Shrimp Boil

The two biggest seasoning mixes are the Old Bay Seasoning which is a classic for shrimp boils, and the other is Creole. Creole is easier to find in some areas so that is why it gets tossed into the mix. You can buy mild and hot versions of this, so make sure to check the labels.

What To Serve With A Shrimp Boil

  • Cornbread | This is a tasty one to have on the side. Slather on some butter and enjoy the tasty combination.
  • co*cktail Sauce | Some will want to dip their shrimp in co*cktail sauce, so I always recommend having that on hand.
  • Salads | Looking for a lighter side, consider tossing in a salad to the side, for people to make and enjoy.
  • Lemons | Always pair a shrimp boil with lemons. When you squeeze that fresh lemon on top of the mixture it will bring out so many new flavors to the mixture.

Best Way To Store Leftover Air Fryer Shrimp Boil

Take any leftovers you have and place them in an airtight container. Then store 2-3 days. Use your best judgment on if the boil is looking like it is going bad.

To reheat simply warm up in the microwave, or toss in the Air Fryer for a few minutes to heat it up that way. The shrimp will change in texture so make sure not to overheat or it will become rubbery.
